Tomorrow we will be upgrading all FogBugz On Demand accounts to version 8.19.352. This fixes a regression introduced in 8.19.324 where some accounts were not sending / receiving email. Please note that the effected accounts have already been updated with a workaround for the issue.
We will upgrade accounts gradually from 0900 ET to 1700 ET. We do not expect any downtime during this window.
On the morning of Monday, July 24th, we received a number reports of mailbox failures. As we investigated the failures, we learned that an issue our deploy on Thursday, July 20th caused the heartbeat service (responsible for incoming and outgoing mail, among other things) not to run for about 7% of all accounts. We've repaired the problem for those accounts, and incoming and outgoing mail should be working. Affected accounts should see mail pulled and sent in batches until mailboxes are up to date. We're apologize for the convenience. If you have any questions, please reach out to us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
On Monday, July 24th, 1400 UTC, we'll be upgrading Kiln On Demand to version 3.1.625. Upgrades will occur at each account's local midnight, based on its regional settings. Upgrades shouldn't cause service interruptions. All upgrades should be finished by July 25th, 1400 UTC (1000 EDT).
On Thursday July 20th, we will be performing maintenance on our On Demand infrastructure to better accommodate our customers. Maintenance will be approximately 1 hour from 9:00 PM Eastern until 10:00 PM Eastern (0100 - 0200 UTC on Friday July 21st). During this time we may have to interrupt active TCP connections. If that is necessary you may see a momentary slowdown or error message which clears on refresh. Please contact us with questions or feedback.
